Brugg, Switzerland, 1933: Magnus Hirschfeld, sexologist and sex researcher published "Die Weltreise eines Sexualforschers" (The World Journey of a Sexologist). Hirschfeld's "Institut für Sexualwissenschaft" (Institute of Sexology), founded in Berlin in 1919, was attacked by young Nazis on May 6, 1933; library and archive with more then 20 000 books, photographs and exhibits were destroyed and burned.
