Paris, 1930: "Éditions Surréalistes" published Salvador Dalí's book "La femme visible" (The Visible Woman) in which he laid the foundations for his so called "Paranoiac-Critical" method in creating surrealistic images. Surrounding himself with an air of mystery, he was always a master of excellent public relation. "At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since", said Dalí.
