Chicago, February 14, 1929: In the fierce fighting for control of the illegal liquor traffic during the Prohibition, the Capone gang lined seven members of the rival "Bugs" Moran gang up against a wall, and shot them in cold blood. This event will be remembered in history as "The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre". The sentence in my drawing "Brother what a fight it really was" is a homage to "Paper Lace", and their famous hit from 1974, "The Night Chicago Died". Of course, they sing about a shoot-out between the Capone gang and the Chicago Police, but never mind, shooting is shooting.
