Berlin, 1927: Hermann Hesse published "Der Steppenwolf" (Steppenwolf), a novel about Harry Haller (The initials H. H. are not by chance), who has a divided psyche torn between the animal inside him and his socially unadjusted intellectual nature. Obsessed by the idea to kill himself, he wanders through the outskirts of a big city and one day finds sign: "MAGIC THEATER. ENTRANCE NOT FOR EVERYBODY. FOR MADMEN ONLY!" It's really a nice beginning of a novel. (I red it when I was very young, and maybe it initiated the idea to create one day my own theatre which would be not for everybody).
