Paris, 1919: Marcel Duchamp took a cheap reproduction of Mona Lisa, drew a moustache and a thin goatee beard, and put the title L.H.O.O.Q. The title is a phonetic game: when read out loud in French sounds like "Elle a chaud au cul" (literally translated - "she has a hot ass"). Following Leonardo, who once said: "Art is never finished, only abandoned.", I swallowed a cheap reproduction of Duchamp’s Mona Lisa and absorbed it as food.
