Berlin, 1918: Richard Huelsenbeck read "The First German Dada Manifesto" in the Neumann gallery. My favorite sentence, that we took as a motto for the book and for CD-Rom “Das anatomische theater” is: "The Simultaneist poem teaches a sense of the merry-go-round of all things; while Herr Schulze reads his paper, the Balkan Express crosses the bridge at Nish, a pig squeals in Butcher Nuttke’s cellar."
