Vienna, 1912: Carl Jung, publishes "Wandlungen und Symbole der Libido" (known in English as "Psychology of the Unconscious: A Study of the Transformations and Symbolisms of the Libido"). Where Freud held that the libido was determined solely by sexual drive, Jung has come to a broader concept of libido (Collective unconscious etc.), what cost him his friendship with Freud. (My drawing here is somehow closer to Freud’s concept).
